Empathic Productions Ltd. will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

If Empathic Productions Ltd. is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Copying and downloading images from our website has been disabled.

Captured footage by our camera systems is in a digital medium and regardless of its content, is stored on our editing systems and hard disks using industrial strength, International standard encryption. If any or all our archive data becomes lost or stolen, it cannot be published without access to its encryption key which is not stored in a print or written format.

Personal Data in the Form of Recorded Images

A major part of Empathic Productions Ltd. business is engaged in producing media coverage of news, current affairs and media events deemed to be of general public interest. We are required to demonstrate our business experience and ability to process personal data in a manner that meets the quality goals of current media distributors such as television news channels and Internet based media streaming organisations. In pursuance of growing our business and maintaining the goals of being in business, Empathic Productions Ltd. has a Legitimate Interest and right to continue to process and publish personal data. By this means we provide evidence of our achievements and experience to our prospective clients. 

Empathic Productions Ltd. has a Legitimate Interest in maintaining a Portfolio of personal data which allows our prospective clients to critically examine and approve our work.

Personal Data in the form of recorded images, obtained by Empathic Productions Ltd., its directors, agents, employees and representatives acting on its behalf in the capacity of vision sound recordists, editors, archivists and producers; may be obtained through any or all of the following:

a)  Work through the special purposes of journalism.
b)  Work under a performance contract where Involved People consent for their image to appear in a vision sound recording, are made aware of our intention to utilise their data in a publication category and consent for us to utilise their data in a publishable domain in the future.
c)  Work under a signed release form where Involved People consent for their image to appear in a vision sound recording, are made aware of our intention to utilise their data in a publication category and consent for us to utilise their data in a publishable domain in the future.
d)  Work with Uninvolved People, such as those present in crowd and background scenes, classed as uninvolved but present, who are given notice in writing that a vision sound recording is being conducted. Uninvolved People will be given an opportunity to inform us of a requirement to delete or make unrecognisable their Personal Data once recording commences. Where there is any doubt that Empathic Productions Ltd. would be able to comply with that requirement, we will advice Uninvolved People that they should leave the immediate vicinity where vision sound recording is being conducted.

Non of the foregoing changes our intention to treat personal data in a sensitive, responsible manner and consider the impact of our use of it relative to its subjects.

Your Rights

Empathic Productions Ltd. aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

In certain circumstances, you have the right:

To access and receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you;

To rectify any Personal Data held about you that is inaccurate;

To request the deletion of Personal Data held about you regardless of any previous permission granted to us, unless limited by binding contractual terms. An example of a contractual limitation could be a performance contract between an actor and a film company where the end-product is designated for public performance. If you have changed your mind, or should ever in the future change your mind about allowing us to continue to use your Personal Data, please notify us and we will remove all items of concern. You do not need to provide us with a reason.

Excepting any data that is subject to our Copyright, you have the right to data portability for the information you provide to Empathic Productions Ltd. You can request to obtain a copy of your Personal Data, not restricted by our Copyright, in a commonly used electronic format so that you can manage and move it.

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
